Topic: A-Z of Growing Roses

Love roses? Shari-Lyn Safir will divulge everything we need to know to grow roses successfully, from site selection and soil conditioning to pruning, protecting from pests such as the Japanese Beetle, to effective winter care and protection.
Rose enthusiast, Shari-Lyn Safir, is Past President of the Toronto Rose Society and the National Canadian Rose Society. She is a master gardener and a rose judge, and has been an international judge at venues such as the World Rose Trials in California and the Old Garden Roses World Convention in Lyon, France.

Flower Show: Iris, Rose & Peony

Exhibits include specimens of flowering and edible plants growing at this time of year, potted plants, and special designs. Check your 2016 Yearbook for details.
