September General Meeting with Presentation and Flower Show

Wondering what to grow in a shady spot besides Hostas? Martin Galloway has many plant suggestions to share with us, including colorful plant ideas for challenging dry shade areas.
Professor Martin Galloway, holding Masters degrees in Environmental Biology and Zoology, teaches at the University of Toronto and Seneca College, and is the proprietor of Chalk Lake Greenhouses in Uxbridge, specializing in perennials, native and herbaceous plants.

Exhibits include specimens of flowering and edible plants growing at this time of year, potted plants, and special designs. Please refer to our 2016 Yearbook for details.
