His science-based, practical approach has helped thousands understand the essentials of house plant care and become confident “plant parents."

In addition to authoring The New Plant Parent, Darryl Cheng is the creator of the popular blog and Instagram account, House Plant Journal. Darryl’s commitment to excellence, passion for plants and thirst for knowledge have transformed him into one of the most trusted sources of information about house plants on the internet.
