Fusion Gardening® is a popular landscape design style you may have seen promoted by local municipalities. Why? It incorporates rain-water handling, drought-tolerance, and gardening with native plants to enhance biodiversity, all while being low maintenance. This talk touches on ways Fusion elements can be incorporated into the landscape and highlights some native species used for both their functional and aesthetic properties.
Over the last 12 years, Mike Prong has become a dedicated, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking advocate of green practices in the landscape industry. With extensive experience in both construction and design, coupled with a broad knowledge of horticulture, Mike has a reputation for transforming even the most basic of spaces into an eco-friendly oasis. Mike’s formal education includes horticultural studies at Fanshawe College and Mohawk College.
All general meetings begin with a welcome and general announcements, which precede introduction of the guest speaker.
